NHS Dumfries & Galloway is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology to join our Child and Adolescent Psychological Services team.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering psychological therapies to children and young people presenting with moderate difficulties, as well as providing parenting interventions through one-to-one work and group-based programs.
Additionally, the postholder will support the training and supervision of other health professionals in using psychological approaches in their work.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver psychological therapies to children and young people with moderate difficulties

- Support the training and supervision of other health professionals
The Child and Adolescent Psychological Services team works with children and young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties, as well as their parents and carers.
The team is part of the wider Psychology Department, which works across the lifespan and has a complement of around 100 staff.
