Job Description

Tony Gee and Partners is seeking a skilled Assistant Planner to join their Highways department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Planner to provide robust project planning support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze project data to inform planning decisions
  • Assist in creating and updating project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Develop and present progress reports and dashboards to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Contribute to quality reviews of project schedules and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in project controls
  • Support the Principal Planner in training new team members and shaping the future of the Planning team
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Engineering or Construction discipline
  • Experience working in a project-based environment
  • Familiarity with project planning software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable

Previous experience with Primavera P6 or similar planning solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
