Highways Planning Support Specialist

Tony Gee is currently seeking an Assistant Planner to join their Highways team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Principal Planner to provide robust project planning support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating outputs to track progress and changes
  • Meeting with colleagues and contractors to collect progress and change data
  • Assisting the Principal Planner in updating contract schedules in Primavera P6
  • Creating and presenting progress reports and dashboards
  • Understanding and communicating the impact of project delays and changes
  • Assisting the Principal Planner in quality reviewing third-party schedules
  • Keeping informed on new technologies in the project controls space
  • Taking ownership of smaller projects and assisting in training new team members
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships internally and with third parties

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working in a project-based environment
  • Familiarity with project planning and monitoring functions
  • Experience with planning software such as Primavera P6
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
