Job Overview

This is a 6PA plus 1 PA and 3% Category A availability supplement for an on-call psychiatric post.

Applicants must have MRCP or equivalent and be on, or within six months of, the Specialist Register and fully registered with the GMC, as well as Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act.

Please note that interviews will be conducted via video link using Life Size, date to be confirmed.

A job application form must be submitted for each post applied for.

Main Duties

  1. Provide psychiatric care to patients referred to the SWK CMHT.
  2. Offer medical input to the SWK CMHT Team.
  3. Ensure effective liaison between mental health services and the acute hospital, and other agencies as required.
  4. Perform additional duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
