Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus on regulatory affairs in multiple jurisdictions, liaising with outside counsel and regulators to ensure compliance with registration requirements. You will conduct research on credit rating agency regulation across various jurisdictions, advising internal stakeholders on regulatory developments.

Main Tasks:

  • Familiarize yourself with the regulatory framework applicable to credit rating agencies, monitoring regulatory developments and advising KBRA employees on their implications.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Department on matters before KBRA's regulators, including examinations, submissions, and requests.
  • Develop knowledge of data privacy laws in the regions where KBRA operates and work closely with the Information Security team on best practices.
  • Collect and review documents, liaise with external counsel, draft memoranda, and potentially prepare for regulatory audits.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in England or Northern Ireland
  • Excellent research, analysis, and organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of securities laws and regulations

Compensation and Benefits
