About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and formulate individual interventions, plans, and outcome measures that promote recovery for adults with mental health difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, carers, and external agencies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that promote recovery and social inclusion.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services.

Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Post-registration experience of working in multidisciplinary community mental health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of government directives and current policies related to mental health care.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Mental Health Act 1983.
