Special Education Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Support Professional to join our client, a specialist school supporting students with complex difficulties and learning challenges.
About the RoleThis role is crucial in fostering an inclusive environment that empowers our students to thrive both academically and personally. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties.
- Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all learners.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised education plans.
- Employ positive reinforcement techniques to help manage challenging behaviours.
- Encourage student independence and self-advocacy through skill-building activities.
- Experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their personal development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families.
- A proactive approach to overcoming challenges and adapting to students' diverse needs.
- An estimated salary of £95 - £105 per hour.

To be eligible for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application, and provide two references covering the last two years.
