SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in Mansfield. The successful candidate will support a child with special education needs, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment. The school has a strong commitment to providing a high-quality education and a positive learning experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a child with special education needs in a Primary School setting
  • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the child's individual needs
  • Help the child to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff and other professionals to ensure the child receives the best possible support

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special education needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS check
