Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at our new store in Uxbridge. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date with new products and promotions.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing and engaging store environment.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a till.
