Special Education Teaching Associate

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Special Education Teaching Associate to join our team at a specialist school in Haywards Heath. In this role, you will work closely with students who require additional support, providing guidance and encouragement to help them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, focusing on academic, social, and emotional development

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure seamless transitions and progress tracking
Requirements:
• Experience working with children who require additional support in a special education setting
• Strong knowledge of special education principles and strategies, including behavior management and accommodations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Patience, creativity, and dedication to creating a supportive environment for young people to grow and develop
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
