Job Title: Learning Disability Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team in Pembroke. As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor and record individual progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
