Sanctuary Property Services is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Planned and Minor Works team based in Chester. As part of the team, you will work alongside another Operative covering numerous sites across the North West region, including Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, and Stoke.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties
  • Resolve problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintain a suitable van stock level and restock as needed
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
  • You will focus mainly on larger day-to-day jobs, capital replacements, and major revenue jobs

Requirements:

  • Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing)
  • Qualifications in Window and Door installation, joinery, kitchen and bathroom installation, plastering, plumbing, damp proofing, roofline, and rainwater goods
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Working experience of analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • PC literate and able to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
  • This role will involve driving on company business, requiring a full valid UK driving licence
