About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maths Educator to join our team at Barnardo's. As a Maths Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality maths education to young people aged 15-24, helping them to achieve their full potential and progress into positive destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Maths Programmes: Design and deliver maths programmes that cater to the diverse needs of our learners, ensuring they achieve and progress into positive destinations.
  • Assess and Monitor Progress: Conduct regular assessments to identify learners' needs, monitor their progress, and provide targeted support to ensure they reach their goals.
  • Provide Support and Guidance: Offer one-to-one support and guidance to learners, helping them to build confidence and develop the skills they need to succeed in maths and beyond.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement maths programmes, share best practices, and ensure a high-quality learning experience for all learners.
  • Meet OFSTED Guidelines: Ensure that all maths programmes and activities meet the highest standards, as outlined by OFSTED guidelines.
