About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, patients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist the responsible person to meet and interpret their duties and obligations under applicable Health and Safety Acts, regulations, and industry technical guidance.
  • Assist the Senior Management Team to achieve a safe working and caring environment, and to prevent harm from occurring while promoting a positive health and safety culture as a core value.
  • Demonstrate the significance of health and safety compliance to our regulators and interested parties.
  • Undertake H&S activities to ensure compliance with legislation and industry guidance and support regulator queries and provider visits, enabling management to provide assurance.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in H&S related matters, including H&S campaigns, improvement initiatives, BMI Comm Cells, newsletters, and regional H&S Forums.
  • Evaluate compliance to H&S requirements, including statutory requirements, Acts/Regulations/Directives, industry guidance, and internal BMI Policy/SOP documents.
