ITQ Assessor Role

We are seeking a skilled ITQ Assessor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate. As an ITQ Assessor, you will play a crucial role in educating apprentices, school leavers, and mature students in IT-related subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the progress and site work of apprentices to ensure they are prepared for their End-Point Assessment.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, addressing challenges and opportunities for growth.
  • Integrate industry experience into teaching to offer practical insights and real-world applications.
  • Promote College values and adhere to safeguarding policies.
  • Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Relevant IT qualification or degree.
  • Assessors qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in assessing IT qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
