Role Description:

This Clinical Mental Health Specialist position requires a skilled professional to work with children, young people, and their families in emergency departments and community settings.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality mental health services, undertake acute risk assessments, and engage in formal and informal education of Acute Trust staff and other partnership agencies.

Key responsibilities include delivering High-quality, evidence-based care, undertaking acute risk assessment, and safety planning for extremely vulnerable client groups.

Requirements:
  • Extensive post-registration experience in mental health care
  • Mental health assessment and risk assessment
