We are pleased to be working with North Wales Police to recruit a Physical Training Instructor on a temporary contract.

Key Details:

  • Hourly rate: £17.58
  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Some evening and weekend working may be required

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the fitness levels of new recruits, current police and support staff, and providing fitness training to new recruits. They will also promote a responsible attitude to fitness levels throughout the force.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in PE, Health or Sports-related area
  • Experience of planning, implementation, and evaluation of physical activity projects
  • IT literate with the ability to produce accurate reports and statistics
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for students under their control and direction
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage the delivery of physical activity opportunities
  • Assess fitness levels and provide fitness training
