Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Training: Conduct fitness assessments for new recruits, current police officers, and support staff, and provide personalized training plans to improve their physical fitness.
- Program Development: Develop and implement a range of physical activity opportunities to increase participation levels of all staff, including new recruits and probationary constables.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and colleagues to achieve organizational objectives, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to equal opportunities and health and safety.
- Specialist Advice: Provide specialist advice and knowledge to colleagues, partners, and other individuals to support the achievement of organizational objectives and policies.
- Performance Review: Conduct fair and objective reviews of individual performance, recognizing personal achievements and identifying areas for future development.
- Education: Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as PE, Health, or Sports Science.
- Experience: Proven experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating physical activity projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Skills: IT literacy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work within a team environment or on own initiative, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
