We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Campus Support Technician to join our team at ICMP. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our campus facilities, providing exceptional customer service to our students and staff, and contributing to the overall success of our institution.
Main Responsibilities- Facilities Management
- Manage the day-to-day compliance with all Health and Safety regulations, including Fire Safety, First Aid, and incident reporting.
- Operate and maintain SAE's asset register, including bar coding, logging, reporting, and yearly stocktake.
- Deliver SAE's waste management operations, ensuring timely progress and adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Schedule and deliver SAE's general infrastructure maintenance and Preventive Planned Maintenance, delegating tasks to team members as necessary.
- Manage SAE's stationery and office support needs, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Resource Planning
- Assist the Campus Manager in delivering project and refurbishment works.
- Attend and assist with open days and events as required.
- Personnel Management
- Assist with the induction and training of new team members.
- Monitor the performance of team members, identifying areas for further training and development.
- Ensure team morale and focus are maintained, and that team members deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders.
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage the Facilities Team staff rota, ensuring all sites are manned appropriately at all times.
- Manage the asset database and lead the team on any changes or developments.
- Manage the purchasing of items such as stationery, cleaning supplies, facilities shop stock, and vending.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
- Qualifications/Training
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is desirable.
- Experience
- Previous experience as a facilities assistant or customer-facing role is essential.
- Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, drive, and performance-manage junior team members.
- Self-discipline and organization in the approach to duties.
- Ability to problem-solve, fault-find, and demonstrate initiative.
- Confidence to challenge existing constructs and liaise with people at all levels.
