Cover Supervisor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at a Secondary School in South Molton, Devon.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere, and managing classroom behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere in the classroom.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task.
- Assist with the development of educational resources.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and senior leaders to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with Secondary School students.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- The ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- A relevant degree is desirable.
