Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 - 19:00
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Freight Transport Specialist to join our team in Carlisle. As part of the delivery network, you will be responsible for safely transporting parcels on scheduled routes, providing excellent service while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a company van to make deliveries on scheduled routes.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of parcels to customers.
- Load and unload parcels with care, ensuring all items are secure.
- Complete all required paperwork and delivery logs accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Report any vehicle issues or damage promptly.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license (clean preferred).
- Previous experience in transportation or delivery is beneficial but not required.
- Good understanding of the local area.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, offering a lucrative career opportunity in logistics management.
