We are seeking an experienced major donor fundraiser to join our team at Wadars Animal Rescue.

About the Role

This is a challenging and demanding role, requiring a skilled and strategic thinker to deliver ambitious income targets from high net worth individuals, corporates, trusts, and legacies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to secure significant donations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, corporates, and trusts
  • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including legacy giving and corporate partnerships
  • Work closely with the fundraising assistant to deliver individual giving and community fundraising initiatives
  • Produce high-quality, imaginative, and compelling presentations, proposals, letters, and pitches to secure major gifts

Requirements

  • Proven track record of achieving significant gifts from high net worth individuals, corporates, and trusts
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of legacy fundraising and administration an advantage
