We prioritize excellent care and services for clients and children, driving the successful growth of the company. To maintain this pace, we seek an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.
The RoleAs the Chef Manager, you will have full operational and financial responsibility for your school's catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service, as well as showcasing flair, originality, and the ability to make this one of the best school catering offers in the area.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the kitchen team
- Managing catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
- Ensuring consistency of food and service standards for students and staff
- Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
- Managing and improving controllable costs
- Overseeing menu development
- Maintaining company systems, procedures, and legislation
- Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to schools. Key skills and experience include:
- OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not required)
- Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
- Knowledge of health and safety practices
- Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets
- Line management experience
- Experience in a similar environment
