Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at ZF Automotive UK Limited in Peterlee, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and report on the plant's financial performance, analyzing and interpreting results to provide commentary against budget and forecast.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, complete balance sheet reconciliations, and review balance sheets with the corporate finance team.
- Assist in the production of the monthly forecast and creation of the annual plant budget.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and track project spend from approval to asset capitalization.
- Work closely with purchasing and accounts payable departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Provide financial data to departments to inform decision-making, including explanations and interpretations.
- Complete board notes, tax packs, and corporate finance information requests.
- Support external and internal audits.
- Part or newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Experience in a busy finance function within a large multi-national company.
- Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- SAP ERP experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver information concisely.
