We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will work closely with a Local Authority in Sefton to assist with the appointment of a HR Business Partner on a 3-month contract, with the potential for extension at the client\u0027s discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Council\u0027s sickness absence procedures are managed efficiently and effectively, with full adherence to procedures and liaison with TU representatives as appropriate.
  • Ensure managers and other supervisory staff are fully conversant with the sickness absence policy and procedures, with completion of mandatory training as required.
  • Undertake in-depth analysis of sickness absence data and produce statistical reports for management as required.
  • Ensure reasonableness and equality in all aspects of decision-making relative to the implementation of the sickness absence processes.
  • Ensure a robust methodology is maintained relative to the sickness absence procedures, with effective management of any failure to adhere to procedures to ensure future compliance.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Experience in a Generalist HR Role or ability to demonstrate related experience
  • Experience of negotiating/consultation and handling employee relations issues and liaison with Trade Union representatives

  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires a basic DBS.
