We are seeking a skilled Fabric Engineer to join our client's team in Brighton, working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry or as a handyman, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to reactive works within the site team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with clients' representatives to discuss maintenance and repair tasks, providing clear communication and updates.
- Undertake site surveys and produce Works Requests, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments for planned works and Subcontractor ATWs.
- Repair floor and wall coverings, ceiling tiles, and other building and installation works as required.
- Plan and manage refurbishment works for fabric and decoration needs, utilizing a phased approach.
- Assist with lighting, general lamp changes, filter changes, and basic plumbing requirements as needed.
- Utilize a PDA to complete works, key communications, and updates, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
- Complete reactive, PPM jobs, and projects in a timely manner, undertaking minor projects works as required.
