We are looking for a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team in providing a quality catering and function service.


Key Responsibilities:



  • To assist in the provision of a quality catering and function service in accordance with relevant legislative requirements, including health and safety, food hygiene, and hazard analysis within the food industry.
  • To ensure that all food prepared is safe to eat and meets the required standards.
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • To work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • To contribute to the development of menus and specials boards.

Requirements:



  • An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) is essential. This can be obtained online from many training providers.
  • A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.

Working Hours:


Monday - Thursday, 10:00-14:00
Friday, 08:30-12:30


Salary: £18,934 - £19,312 per annum (pro-rata for part-time hours/sessional posts)
