Workshop Fitter Role

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our team at Norse South East's Workshop Division in Havant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired in accordance with Operators Licence requirements.

Key responsibilities include preparing vehicles for annual tests, road testing vehicles to certify roadworthiness, and attending breakdowns on a rota system.

We are looking for an experienced fitter with a City & Guilds Part 3 in motor vehicles studies or equivalent, a Category C+E Driving Licence, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance standards required for HGV operation.

Our ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of Health and Safety and its impact in vehicle repair operations, as well as experience in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all types of large and small commercial vehicles.
