Job Title: Specialist Business Support Officer

We are partnering with a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of a Specialist Business Support Officer on a 2-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive administration support across the service, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed to a high standard, including minute-taking.
  • Develop and update electronic and paper systems for filing stored data.
  • Take a lead role in data capture and reporting.
  • Provide informal on-the-job training, professional support, and guidance to administrative staff across the service.
  • Assist in the development of the administration staff's key skills and abilities through sharing expertise and knowledge with others.

Requirements:

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Numeracy and Literacy (GCSE level or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of Business Administration functions and applications.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
