About the Role

Medicines Discovery Catapult is a national Life Sciences service dedicated to turning drug discovery into commercial breakthroughs. As a Research Scientist for Medicinal Innovation, you will be working on high-profile projects, accelerating the development of science and stimulating innovation.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including preclinical imaging and radiopharmaceuticals. You will design and deliver experimental plans for Translational Imaging projects, generating high-quality data in a complex research environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high quality experimental plans for partnered Translational Imaging projects.
  • Implement new approaches and workflows to address project questions and build new lab capability.
  • Generate study data for analysis in a concise and organised form.
  • Carry out tissue removal for ex vivo analysis.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a bioscience discipline (or other relevant degree) plus significant lab experience working in a bioscience or medicines discovery environment; or significant and demonstrable relevant experience in a laboratory environment.
  • A track record of delivering high quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously in a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.

What We Offer:
