The Emerald Group is looking for a Lead Model Developer to join its team in London, offering a salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, based on experience.

About the Job:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled model developer to lead the development and maintenance of our capital models, working closely with the Head of Capital Modelling and other team members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain complex models using Tyche or other relevant software.
  • Support the Head of Capital Modelling in duties such as model parameterisation, model development, output design, regulatory submissions, and documentation.
  • Produce high-quality reports and outputs as required by stakeholders.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with their requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a subject with a high degree of Mathematics, e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Economics with Mathematics, Actuarial Science.
  • Strong background in capital modelling and experience with Tyche or other relevant software.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
