We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a key member of our residential children's services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in Cardiff.
About the Role:- Work as part of a team to provide individualized care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our service users.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children to grow and develop both personally and academically.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- At least 6 months of relevant UK-based care experience working with children.
- Driver with access to your own vehicle.
- Reliable and flexible with the ability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Experience in report writing and working with challenging behaviors.
- Patient, nurturing, and kind with a passion for working with children and young people.
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.50 (plus holiday pay entitlement).
- A comprehensive training program to support your professional development.
