We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our Laboratory Management Team at Oxford Biomedica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our non-GXP laboratory, including waste management, stock control, reagent preparation, and cleaning.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and ensuring the quality of key stock consumables, media, solutions, and buffers used by scientists.
  • Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities according to schedule.
  • Ensuring OXB laboratory waste management systems are adhered to, including autoclave use and waste disposal.
  • Maintaining documentation, including populated, QC-checked, and filed records in accordance with local rules.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma level in a science subject or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience gained within a similar workplace and position.
  • Strong computer skills, including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
