Early Years Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our team in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 3-5 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience and prepare for completing their teacher training the following year.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Implementation: Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
  • Safe Environment: Provide a safe and caring environment where children can explore and learn through play.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Progress Assessment: Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents about their child's development.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and contribute to the overall operation of the setting.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma, NVQ Level 3).
  • Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of child development and early year's curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Compensation:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
