Nightshift Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nightshift Support Worker to join our team at Jean Todd Close in Antrim. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and dignity of individuals living with mental ill health, intellectual disability, autism, and addictions.
The successful candidate will work 39 hours per week on a night shift basis, providing support and assistance to service users in a safe and respectful environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in people's lives and is committed to delivering high-quality care.
As a Nightshift Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Providing emotional and practical support to service users
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Encouraging independence and promoting self-advocacy
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong understanding of mental health, intellectual disability, autism, and addiction issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
