We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Fostering team in Central Bedfordshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as a Supervising Social Worker, training and supporting Foster Carers, and completing Form F assessments or Kinship care Assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working as a Supervising Social Worker
  • Training and supporting Foster Carers
  • Completing Form F assessments or Kinship care Assessments

Preferred experience includes:

  • Post-qualifying experience of working within a statutory Fostering Social Work team within the UK

About the team:

  • Well-structured and organised team, growing their social worker staffing levels

Minimum requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 1 year post-qualifying experience within the UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
