About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Deichmann. As a Cover Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing managerial cover across a cluster of stores, including Lakeside, East Ham, Stratford, Ilford, and Walthamstow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales performance.
  • Lead by example in promoting and recommending complementary shoe care products, demonstrating confidence with selling and excellent product knowledge.
  • Resourcing and drafting rotas, working within budget and ensuring efficient stock management.
  • Analyzing and interpreting sales performance data and reports to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensuring all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising and administrative tasks.
  • Delivering all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meeting company standards.
  • Recruitment and training of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed.
Personal Qualities
  • A hands-on leader with experience in retail or a related industry sector.
  • A positive and flexible approach with a can-do attitude.
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The confidence and ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the team.
  • Able to numerate and have attention to detail.
  • A good communicator with spatial awareness and the ability to work methodically and organized.
  • Fully flexible across the week, with the ability to travel within a defined geographical area.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £32,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
