We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability & Energy Consultant to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Sustainability & Energy Consultant, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of energy assessment projects, focusing on developing and delivering detailed energy strategies for complex residential and non-residential developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on the delivery of energy assessment projects, developing and delivering detailed energy strategies for residential and non-residential developments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their energy needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Conduct energy assessments and provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree and/or substantial experience in the sector.
  • 3+ years' experience in energy assessment and consultancy for residential and non-residential development.
  • Membership or working towards a relevant industry body (e.g., CIBSE, EI, IMechE, IEMA, IEnvSc etc.).
  • Experience and qualification in SAP assessment/OCDEA, SBEM/LCEA, development of energy strategies, u-value calculations, thermal bridging assessment.
  • Project management experience, ideally for multi-service energy and environmental consultancy projects.
