About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Hoare Lea. As a key member of our Sustainability Group, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable development and reducing environmental impact across various projects and sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement holistic sustainability strategies to minimize environmental footprint and maximize social benefits.
  • Lead the delivery of environmental assessments, including BREEAM, WELL, and HQM, from early design stages to completion.
  • Conduct a range of modeling and assessment tasks, such as embodied carbon analysis, circular economy opportunities, building performance simulation, and operational energy use.
  • Support the development of energy strategies with clients to drive sustainability innovation on various projects.
  • Train and mentor graduate team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other team members on research and development initiatives to stay at the forefront of industry knowledge.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in BREEAM, WELL, and HQM assessments, as well as whole life carbon assessments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Passion for creating sustainable solutions and driving positive change.
