Care and Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated Care and Support Worker to join our team at Dovehaven Care Homes. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional care to older adults in a residential setting.
About the Role:The role of a Care and Support Worker is a rewarding and challenging position that requires strong communication, empathy, and organisational skills. As a member of our team, you will work closely with other staff to provide high-quality care to our residents, promoting their dignity, respect, and independence.
You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and providing companionship to our residents. Your ability to work well under pressure, think critically, and make informed decisions will be essential in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective care.
A minimum salary of £26,214 per annum is available for this role, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive 28 days annual leave (pro rata), free parking, and comprehensive induction and training opportunities.
Requirements:- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering high-quality care
- 2 weekly pay
- Cost of DBS check reimbursed
- 'Earn While You Learn' scheme - complete a Diploma (NVQ) whilst working for us
