Opportunity Overview:
Rainbows Children's Hospice is a leading provider of specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to babies, children, and young people living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Hospice Volunteer Coordinator to join our Volunteering Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for building meaningful relationships and using creativity to solve problems. You will work closely with our team to engage supporters, encourage participation, and support individuals in a range of volunteer opportunities. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate volunteer records and providing KPI data as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build connections with a diverse range of people, and a good understanding of GDPR processes. You will also have the ability to inspire others to get involved, working positively and enthusiastically to make a difference to the lives of our service users.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment activities, engaging supporters and encouraging participation in meaningful volunteer opportunities.
- Act as the central point of contact for all volunteers at Rainbows, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, ensuring GDPR compliance, and provide KPI data as needed.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition, you will receive a contributory pension scheme or Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme, 27 days holiday plus bank holidays, and access to a range of employee benefits including free parking, meals, and wellbeing support.
