Job Title: Practice Manager and Quality Lead

Finegreen is partnering with an established NHS Primary Care Service Provider to find an experienced Practice Manager who has also worked on Quality and Governance.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with experience working with GP practices and knowledge of EMIS system, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF). They will be responsible for supporting the Director of Quality and Governance to enhance the existing quality management system, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with CQC standards and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Quality and Governance to develop and implement quality improvement plans to enhance patient care.
  • Work with Registered Managers to ensure compliance with CQC standards and legislative requirements.
  • Manage the quality management software and ensure it is up to date and relevant.
  • Develop and implement a safety culture, including improving incident/learning event reporting and the roll out of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
  • Contribute to risk management processes to ensure appropriate risks are highlighted and added to the risk register.
Requirements
  • Master's level or equivalent level of relevant quality management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management reporting systems, such as DATIX and GP Teamnet.
  • Evidenced knowledge of EMIS system, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF), and experience working with GP practices.
  • Extensive working understanding of the NHS Primary Care agenda.
