Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join our team at Tigerlily Childcare Berks and Bucks Limited. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and implement engaging activities that align with the EYFS framework, promoting children's independence and exploration.
  • Conduct detailed observations and assessments of children's development, identifying individual needs and creating tailored learning plans.
  • Ensure the learning environment is well-organised, safe, and engaging, promoting children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
  • Provide guidance and support to apprentices and Level 2 educators, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare.
  • Significant experience in an early years setting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate junior staff members.
  • In-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and best practices in early childhood education.
