Job Title: Teaching Assistant (with potential SEN responsibilities)

Location: Newham, London

Salary: £9,000 - £10,500 per annum (pro rata) or approximately £90-£105 per day

The role offers opportunities to work closely with pupils who have special educational needs (SEN), making it ideal for candidates with experience or interest in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Pupils: Providing one-to-one or small group support to help pupils access the curriculum.
  • Monitoring Progress: Helping to monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers as required.
  • Adapting Strategies: Supporting pupils with additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or speech and language difficulties, by adapting resources and strategies to suit their learning styles.
  • Implementing IEPs: Assisting in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
