Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production plant, maintaining high safety standards, and implementing cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical and Mechanical breakdown repairs across the site.
  • Maintaining high safety standards at all times.
  • Implement planned maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth operation of production plant.
  • Deliver cost-effective and reliable maintenance of all site utility services.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvements and any energy-saving initiatives to the plant.
  • Maintain appropriate systems, checks, procedures, records, and tests to meet site requirements.
  • Assist in management of spare parts stock level availability.
  • Working with production and technical areas to assist in troubleshooting processing problems.
  • Assist with the training and instruction of operatives.
  • Working on CI projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Fully apprenticeship-trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of fault finding and repair plus installation work.
  • Experienced with PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Able to understand Technical Drawings.
  • IT literate.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
