About the Role

As a Home Manager, you will oversee the effective delivery of care that meets the needs of each resident. You will manage resources, adhere to agreed budgets, and recruit, develop, and lead an effective team of care staff. You will also promote the home within the local community while maintaining private bed occupancy and supporting corporate marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of essential support services, including catering, laundry, cleaning, and property maintenance.
  • Actively promote the home's values and mission within the local community.
  • Manage resources and adhere to agreed budgets to ensure the home's financial stability.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead an effective team of care staff to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ensure full compliance with Company, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Statutory Requirements.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Management experience within an elderly dementia care setting.
  • A full understanding of the care sector and its regulations.
