Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Therapy Assistant to join our integrated therapy team on Zetland Ward in Redcar Primary Care Hospital. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation to patients on the ward, working closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and nurses to increase independence and support safe discharge.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients on the ward, including therapy sessions and support with daily living activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Support the therapy team in the delivery of services, including cover for other team members as needed.
