Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Craftworker to join our Estates Team, providing a full range of maintenance services across Trust sites. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Craftworker, you will undertake a broad range of joinery maintenance, repair, and installation work using hand, power, and machine tools as appropriate.

This role is critical to the Estates Department's maintenance support service and is demanding and varied as it covers a range of services. You will be expected to prioritise your daily workload, ensuring you complete tasks in the given priority. The role will predominately include undertaking statutory and non-statutory planned preventative maintenance, with correct training.

You will undertake multi-skilled works to all Trust properties, including working at heights and in adverse weather conditions, within your own competencies. You will be expected to demonstrate all aspects of the joinery discipline, together with a flexible and conscientious approach to working.

Main Duties of the Job

Operating as a mobile Multi-Skilled Maintenance Craftworker, you will receive your work on a handheld device from the Estates and Facilities Helpdesk and Team Leader. You will be required to interpret work from drawings, instructions, and specifications; diagnose faults and carry out necessary repair work.
