Administrative and Communication Specialist

The Administrative and Communication Specialist position at the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively. The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring a warm and welcoming reception for all visitors to the parish office, both in person and over the telephone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communication
- Develop the parish bulletin by gathering necessary information, editing for accuracy, and ensuring timely submission.
- Manage the parish website and social media channels, focusing on promoting the parish mission and vision.
- Create and distribute the weekly eNews email.
- Provide design assistance and produce worship aids, brochures, flyers, and advertising for ministries and staff in a timely manner.
- Administration
- Respond to phone inquiries and direct questions appropriately, or forward caller information to parish staff via email.
- Stay informed about the parish schedule of events and provide relevant guidance to visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
- Prioritize and complete other administrative tasks assigned by parish staff, including data entry, updating records, accepting deliveries, etc.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
