About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate educator to join our team as an Exceptional Children Educator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specially designed instruction to students who qualify for special education services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and guardians to ensure seamless support for students.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in general education classrooms.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students.
Requirements:
- A valid North Carolina teaching license or willingness to pursue state certification.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant content area.
- Experience writing IEPs and 504s for students with varying abilities.
